Validoo Party allows companies to easily publish information related to their GLNs, edit their own information, and additionally fetch information about their trading partners.
Publishing information with Validoo Party
The principal location number (the lowest number in a company’s number series) is published in Validoo Party automatically and without any additional fee for all companies who are customers of GS1 Sweden. The principal location number is published together with the company's address as held by the Swedish companies’ registration office.
Customers who would like to publish more GLNs than their principal GLN sign a contract with GS1 Sweden for the use of Validoo Party. The company then gets access to a web-based tool for input and maintenance of information. Each party identified with a GLN is responsible for maintaining their own information.
The information which can be supplied for each party is:
- Global Location Number (GLN)
- GS1 company prefix
- Company name
- Postal address
- Street address
- Postal code
- Place
- Country code
- Contact person
- Telephone number
- Fax number
- e-mail address
- Role (for example, the supplier, invoices, delivery place)
- Parent GLN (Global Location Number for the party that this party is subordinate to. Used to describe a hierarchal structure)
