What is Validoo Q-lab?

Service description

Validoo Q-lab guarantees that the physical properties of a trade item are the same as registered in the Trade Item Declaration (TID). Validoo Q-lab is a complement to Validoo Item to guarantee the quality of the information in the TID.

Validoo Item and Validoo Q-lab

Validoo Item guarantees that there are no logical errors in the TID. However, it can't verify that the physical properties of the trade item are the same as the properties registered in the TID. Approximately one third of the items put on the market have some sort of error in the TID, for example that the width and depth have been mixed-up, in spite of the fact that the TID has been validated with Validoo Item. The errors can cause high costs for both the supplier and the recipient. Validoo Q-lab verifies that the properties of the physical item are the same as the properties registered in the TID, and the number of errors in the TID decreases drastically.

Quality assurance of TID

The supplier sends the TID, via Validoo Item, and the physical item to Validoo Q-lab. Q-lab verifies that the properties of the item are the same as the properties registered in the TID. The result is sent to the supplier in a report and the supplier can then change the TID or the item as necessary.

Quality assurance of TID
