Validation according to GS1 standards
The validation verifies that the TID does not include any technical or logical errors. The rules followed are set by GS1 and are either global or specific for the Swedish market.
Validoo Item verifies for example that
- correct version of XML is used and that the standard is used correctly
- data is sent in the correct order in the message
- mandatory information is present
- code lists are used according to the standard
- GTIN (Global Trade Item Number) follows the allocation rules
- GLN (Global Location Number) is correct
- summaries are correct for number of items, weight and measurements.
