This page helps you calculate check digits for your GS1 numbers.

When you calculate a check digit for GTIN‑8, GTIN‑12 or GTIN‑13 the resulting GS1 number will be 14 digits. All 14 digits should be included if you save this number in a database, but the leading zeroes must not be included in EAN‑8 or EAN‑13 barcodes.

To calculate the check digit for a GSRN, use the function for calculating the check digit for an SSCC.

Note that the GS1 numbers that you calculate are not saved or registered.
