When ordering Validoo Q-lab you pay an initial fee and a annual service fee. You also pay a fee for every trade item that you quality assure. The fee is different for suppliers and buyers.
Fees for Validoo Q-lab
The following fees apply for Validoo Q-lab:

- Quality assurance fee
The initial fee and the annual service fee are, for suppliers, charges based on the company’s annual turnover. The initial fee and annual service fee are fixed charges for buyers.
The quality assurance fee is a fee charged for every sample that is quality assured, and the fee is different for suppliers and buyers. For suppliers, the quality assurance fee is based on whether the sample was approved or rejected at the quality assurance. The quality assurance fee is a fixed charge for buyers.
Initial fee and annual service fee
A one-time initial fee as well as an annual service fee is charged for Validoo Q-lab at time of order . These fees are invoiced in advance. The fees are based, for suppliers, on the company's annual turnover. The fees are fixed charges for buyers.
The first service fee depends on the number of months remaining in the year. For example, if Validoo Q-lab is ordered in June 1, service fee will be 7/12 of the annual service fee.

Quality assurance fee
Suppliers are charged for every sample and trade item level that is quality assured. If a quality assurance is rejected, and the supplier sends another sample or new trade item information to Validoo Q-lab, the supplier is charged again.
The quality assurance fee is SEK 50 when a GTIN is approved. The fee is instead SEK 300 for every time a GTIN is rejected at the quality assurance. The maximum quality assurance fee that is charged is SEK 900, since Validoo Q-lab charges at most three times per trade item.
A trade item hierarchy consists of several trade items and every item in the hierarchy that is quality assured is therefore charged. Every trade item in a hierarchy is identified with a GTIN (Global Trade Item Number).

We will also charge for samples that arrive at Validoo Q-lab which are not marked with the supplier’s name, GLN and GTIN. The reason is that considerable time is taken up each day trying to identify the senders of unmarked samples. We will therefore charge a fee of SEK 500 for all samples that are not adequately marked.
For samples which have been received but not quality assured or aborted at the supplier’s request, a further fee of SEK 300 will be charged.
