Upcoming specifications version 2.8

This is the upcoming version of the specifications for Trade Item Information and the Food and Beverage Extension which is planned to replace version 2.7 on the 6th of October 2012.


The Business Document Specification (BDS) describes the contents of Trade Item Declaration and the Food and Beverage Extension respectively. The documents are intended as support for users when creating trade item information, but can also be used by system developers. The summary describes the structure in the documents in a clear style.

 

The Mapping Specification is intended for system developers and describes how the attributes in Trade Item Declaration and the Food and Beverage Extension respectively are mapped to the globally used scheme. XML Schemas are intended for system developers, and are used for the technical implementation and for format validation.


The Corrections are valid from that they are published and should be read together with the specifications. The Change History describes the changes made in the published versions of the business document and mapping specifications compared to the previous version.
